Welcome to Thomson Primary!

This is a new school year filled with new adventures. I look forward to working with each of you as you provide many challenging opportunities for your students. I also look forward to working with our parents and community members as our students develop their academic, behavioral, and emotional responsibilities and to celebrate the accomplishments that are made along the way. We will be spending a lot of time together and I view our Thomson staff as an extended family.

I grew up in Pueblo and graduated from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. This is my 28th year in education, 27 of those were spent in the classroom. I have taught second through fifth grades. I have been a part of the Brush School District for the last 18 years. I taught third grade at Beaver Valley and the last ten years I was on the second grade core here at Thomson. I am married and have 2 daughters, Merritt and Mattie. Merritt is a sophomore at the University of Wyoming (Go Pokes!) and Mattie is a sophomore at Brush High School (Go Beetdiggers!). My husband teaches Science at BHS as well.

I have an open door policy, and invite you to come and visit, vent, laugh, or cry when you need to. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to talk to me.
